Living Systems: repair, reconnect, grow

A way of connecting architectural, civic and development questions without forcing them into one project.

Repair asks what is damaged or neglected. Reconnect asks which relationships have been separated. Grow asks what new capacity would help a place remain useful over time. Repeating the cycle makes room for correction.

Place, people, systems and intelligence are lenses for inquiry. A building, a neighborhood and the structures of stewardship operate at different scales; no single drawing resolves them all.

The thesis tests architectural possibilities. Living Ground tests a possible implementation role. Coursework should first be understood on its own terms, then used to ask better questions elsewhere.

This is a personal working framework, newly summarized for the website. It is not an empirical theory or a previously published essay.
